Don't be a dick.

So, if you donated $10 or more to my Patreon, you'd have seen this page yesterday! As well as tomorrow's page. Because I'm on the ball and they are actually done ahead of time whaaaaaaat. Between coming back from vacation in Los Angeles (2 hour time difference from where I live) and the time change for daylight savings time, my sleep schedule and work schedule are FUCKED UP. I'll get the hang of it at some point, but ugh. I was doing so well, too. Waking up early, getting work done early. Fuck you, time change. So, I tried to make this house look super creepy, but it's kind of small so it's hard to get that across. Oh well, that's what dialog is for! It's creepier up close. I also learned that it's hard to refer to a random house in natural sounding dialog. You pretty much have "house", "place", and "it". Regular people aren't going to get flowery with it. Also, Elias is weird to draw from the front. Which is why I generally avoid it and will continue to do so. It's not his angle, friends. Or I'm bad at drawing it at least :). We all understand the "creepy house left to you in a will by a distant relative, but you have to stay in the house for one night to get your inheritance for some reason" trope, right? And Mal is surprisingly optimistic about this house's chances of not falling over. Haven't got much in TV news to talk about because I've been away so much and TV has been light this week. I worked my way through a backlog of The Daily Show and The Nightly Show and caught up on Elementary. That's about it :P. Los Angeles was fun, though! I got to see everyone like, once. Unfortunately five days isn't much. I'm hoping I can use my frequent flyer miles and go back in the fall just to catch a few more people. I dragged my friend from my hometown just about everywhere, including to where my aunt lives up in the mountains near Big Bear. SO MUCH DRIVING. Ugh, I forgot how much I hate LA traffic. I think it's not so much the waiting as it just gets exhausting to have to plan out when you can drive and when you can't, based on rush hour. Chicago has its traffic issues, but usually if I'm in the city, I just take the El train everywhere and problem solved! It goes just about anywhere I want to go, or close by, and it's fast. I am proud that I overall still remember how to get places in LA without a map. Figuring out that city was my biggest fucking accomplishment as an adult, at least in terms of shit that I never thought I'd be able to do. And I can still do it! Good for me.
