Math is hard

THIS PAGE TOOK FOREVER ARGHHHH. I worked all weekend at my normal person job, so I've kind of been going nonstop since...Thursday? And I still have to finish tomorrow's page. So it goes! Usually my week isn't this busy, so I'm glad it'll even out soon. I'm thinking all my characters just need their heads shaved to make things easier. Fun note about writing this chapter: this scene originally didn't exist, and the scene with Aubrey was going to keep going. I realized that given their pack dynamic, I really needed to show that all of Aubrey's fellow werewolves might be able to be on the same page about something. Also, it's more interesting to show characters no one knows very well yet. One thing I think is always interesting when you've got a villain (I guess) group that lives somewhat removed from society, is that somehow everyone still has seemingly a normal education and whatnot. I mean, if you're basically held away from society the majority of your life, you'll have to learn things on your own if you learn them at all. So, our oddball group of recluse, emotionally abused werewolves has had a lot to figure out on their own. And it's been like, 20 years-ish for most of them, so there ya go. I've only drawn Harvey a few times, but she's really fun to draw! I like drawing characters who always look a little unimpressed by things. I theorize that she always runs around in Ugg-style boots because their house has no heat (and this room has a piece of cardboard over the hole in the window, sooooo) and thus she's always sort of cold. I got a lot of theories last week about what Connie's deal might be! I cannot say, though it seems like everyone is getting the gist of it, though I haven't gotten far enough into the story that anyone has enough details to put the whole thing together. At the end of the day, she's a narcissist and her motivations are largely self-serving. That fact drives everything she's ever done, and everything she'll continue to do. I don't know if that will help anyone figure anything more out. Probably not! But there ya go. I will be quite honest that I have no idea where the line is for what constitutes a spoiler and what doesn't, so once again, skim my ramblings down here if you don't want to be spoiled for stuff, I guess.
