Fun fact! That is an actual pattern of carnival glass (thanks to Jenifur for helping me find this again), which was a type of glassware popular in the early 1900s that they'd give out as prizes at carnivals. Red was apparently much rarer than the other colors, so meemaw isn't wrong.

Hey, friends! I don't usually plug my Patreon, but in this instance, I kind of have to! I'm not getting ad revenue at the moment due to some issues with Hive, and the store is down. Those two issues will hopefully be resolved within the next few months, but it takes time, so in the meantime, the only thing supporting this comic is Patreon. Power and internet are back on, so we're good to go! I didn't get a chance to actually do any work today, so we'll see what I get done today. My house is a defacto WeWork today because most of my friends don't have power yet, so it's like working in a real office! And the office is my kitchen.

And I have books priced out for the Book 2 printing, so I'll keep you posted about my Book 2 Kickstarter. Charlene is looking a little Janet Jackson in this page. Give me a few pages to get used to drawing her again, she hasn't been in a scene since middle of the last chapter :P.
