Everyone had so many ideas about this necklace! I'm trying to keep this chapter from going down too many side quests, so we'll see how this goes lol. Fun fact! That is an actual pattern of carnival glass (thanks to Jenifur for helping me find this again), which was a type of glassware popular in the early 1900s that they'd give out as prizes at carnivals. Red was apparently much rarer than the other colors, so meemaw isn't wrong.

Normal schedule again! The werewolf potluck is going to be maximum absurdity, I think. A very serious event!! 

My store through Hiveworks isn't really operational at the moment, but I'll keep you posted, because I'll be launching a Shopify store, hopefully in the fall. And I have books priced out for the Book 2 printing, so I'll keep you posted about my Book 2 Kickstarter. Hard year to be doing a Kickstarter, considering everything is more expensive and no one has any money, but oh well!

My cat is still outside! He's been found, I know where he is, and he's safe and has been making friends with the strays in the neighborhood. He's literally a half block away from me, and the lady who's been feeding strays at her house is going to stop for a few days and see if that pushes them my way. Also, my birthday was on Sunday, so thank you for putting up with my regular birthday break! Here's some art, because making comics was not a thing I had bandwidth for this week :). We'll be back to normal next week, and I'm going out of town at the end of the month, so I'll figure that out. Please send psychic vibes to my cat to tell him to come home.

My stupid cat escaped when I walked outside last night, and now I've been up all night looking for him, so I don't have energy to do much extra today! I need to clean up (again, I took a shower at 2am to wash off all the dirt I crawled around in to try to grab him) and go back to bed. Wish me luck! I almost caught him twice so far, so I feel good about my chances.


I want to post something next week on the 7th, because I still feel like making art, but I'm not in a comics mood, so I'm going to make a summer artwork to post that day instead :). This week will be the normal schedule, though! And if you're wondering why Sara is leading the way to this particular area where the potluck will be held, that'll be explained in upcoming pages. It's nothing big, she just knows who owns it and where it is better than Mal does.
