Vote over at Top Web Comics, and you can see some cute girls from next week’s page! I wonder who’d be looking at cute girls?

I forgot to mention yesterday that technically due to HIPAA laws, Marisa wouldn’t normally discuss someone else’s personal health history without permission, but let’s assume that they’ve been together long enough that she has express permission from her girlfriend to tell other people about her brain tumor :).

And hey, now we get to dive into Marin’s childhood issues because we’re going double flashback!!! Which I totally didn’t realize until I started actually putting these pages together. Granted, it’s not reeeally a second flashback, more like a montage, but it’s flashback-y, I guess. I like Marin. Her life kind of blows, but she’s going to keep up with this case she’s following anyway. She’s good at compartmentalizing, I guess.

Look, ma! No fangs! Hmmmm.

BTW, it was posted yesterday but I didn’t get a chance to include it in my comic blog thing, but I did an interview with GenderTerror you should check out 🙂. It didn’t come out as awkward as I thought I sounded, so that’s cool!

I have life responsibilities to get to today, buuut I’m debating on scrapping all of them and just resting. I’d say I was planning to have fun, but let’s be real, the only thing I consider fun on this planet is Space Mountain at Disneyland, and I don’t have plane tickets. I’m debating between going to the county fair and getting some deep fried Oreos, or going to the weird junk store in the middle of nowhere. It’s a 45 minute drive, but this place sells just about everything. Mostly overstock, a lot of dented boxes of cereal, candy from holidays passed…it’s weird. A few years ago, I found some Darkwing Duck party favor bags that were copyright like, 1989. I should’ve bought them, but I don’t really need party favor bags from 30 years ago. I hope they found a good home. Anyway, I’m going to do something today, and it won’t be art. I need to recover a bit and dive back in tomorrow. Luckily, these pages aren’t too difficult, because there are so few characters compared to the beginning of the mall scene. Drawing five people in almost every panel is a nightmare O_O.
