I've had a weird week! I went to a wake for my aunt's friend on Sunday and then to a local candidate meet and greet event, which meant I had to come home and finish my comic work at night while chatting with my friend on the phone. Then I got kicked out of the trip to the funeral the next day because the fam was going to stay in the city for another business event happening the same day. It all worked out well, because that meant I didn't have to be pulled together at 6am and could get my comic stuff done as well as errands. But I'm at the point where I'm so embedded in my work-from-home schedule that literally anything that upsets the apple cart throws me off mentally for the whole week. It's weird. When you're the only one making yourself work, it weirds up your brain to be purposefully not working due to unexpected events.

Also, I've been attempting to get back into online dating and I hate it! It's like people shopping. I couldn't tell you if I have chemistry with literally any of the women I'm chatting with because I haven't met them in person yet. I've mostly been telling people about my comic lol. A weird new advertising option? I've been making more of an effort to reach out to friends and communicate, now that we're all emerging from our winter slumber. It feels good to remind myself that in the real world, I do know people who like me :D.

Anyway, I'll see you all tomorrow and we'll find out who that person is! Or will we??? I'm looking forward to it.
