Oh no, he’s awkward.
I am no longer human. I am actually a corpse being animated by my overactive histamines. I am basically a ball of allergies this week :|.
Anyway, more library drawing! I’m getting frustrated with black and white more and more just because it’s very hard on a complicated background like this to separate the foreground from the background. I’m not sure I’m ready to go full color on everything. The answer might lie more in calming the fuck down with my shading, maybe. I’m not really sure, but these library scenes take long enough to draw as it is, so probably not the best pages to experiment with :P. I’m at that weird, almost-leveled-up drawing stage and it’s super frustrating. It’s when you can finally start to see some of the things you need to work on in the future, but you’re not quite there in terms of fixing all the new holes in your skills yet.
Vincent isn’t a very chatty guy. He tries, though. He’s the strong, silent archetype, but in reality he’s just very awkward and covers it up…kind of well. But not really. These guys are going to yammer on at each other (mostly Eli) for another like, 3 pages. It’s all very cute. There will be puns.
I am fairly certain that ceiling in the main panel should be higher now that I’m looking at it. Ugh. Oh well, the perspective is still right.
