Vote over at TWC and you can see a pissed off tiny Malaya
I always feel like I'm somehow trying to escape the concept of writing a story about werewolves by putting a bunch of other weird shit into my plot, like shopping and looking for cowbirds and knitting lol. But really, it's that the return on investment when your story only ever involves fighting and transforming and fighting some more just isn't that great. There are a lot of ways to show leadership, and I wanted to contrast Malaya's approach to leading and teaching to Tom's much more aggressive leadership as we get to know him better.
Just a heads up, there should be more merchandise available tomorrow! I'm waiting to get confirmation that it's gone live, but I'll let you all know how it goes :). There will be tote bags (fun for summer!) and pullover hoodies (fun for people who hate being cold!). I think I'm one of the few Hiveworks creators who actively uses the merchandise store option. Most people don't have new stuff very often. I need to come up with a few new designs for y'all, but I'm very picky because I like cool looking things that look fashionable but still say "I read almost 700 pages of this weird webcomic that compares werewolves to yogurt." I'm trying to come up with a neat design that features Elias maybe, because he's kind of the second main character and that'll give everyone another choice :)
I haven't forgotten about my idea for a contest yet! It got a bit waylaid because my life is chaos and I'm trying to get a million things done this month it seems, but we'll come back to it one day! In the meantime, there's new merch up at the Hivemill store. I added some new prints and tshirts finally, so if you like my comic and would like to support me, please go see if there's something you like! The shirts are American Apparel, so size up if you're not sure what size to get.
I made a TikTok? I haven't been using it really, but China already knows my whole life at this point anyway.
HTBAW Fandom Wiki is up and running! Thanks to Myk Streja for tons of help with moderation efforts and everyone else who's done a ton of work on adding information and filling out the Wiki. I know nothing about how this stuff works and I'm too old to learn :D.
Feel free to check out my goofy Amazon store if you're so inclined (this is an ad, as I get a tiny commission if you do buy something), or I have some merch up on Society6 if you're looking for my old store link! Thanks to everyone who's come out to support me through Ko-fi and Patreon!
